Nayagaon is located in Saran District of Bihar. It lies at an altitude of 150 ft above sea level and is 44 km east of Chhapra.

Sonepur, famous for Sonepur Cattle Fair, is about 10 km south-east. Hariharnath Temple is a major shrine in the region.

Patna Airport is the nearest airport. Nayagaon Railway Station is on the Chhapra - Sonepur rail route.
