Located in
Dharwad District of
Karnataka, Navalgund is 30 km north-east of
Dharwad town.
Navalagunda Jain Temple, a famous Jain heritage center, is the prime attraction of the place. Navalgund durrees (also known as Jamkhans) that are highly patterned and styled with parrots and peacocks are popular through out the state. State Highway 63 passes through Navalgund.
The nearest airport is Hubli Airport, 37 km west. Annigeri Railway Station is the closest railhead.
