Natyanjali is a dance festival conducted at
Chidambaram, in the month of February-March. It is celebrated as a special tribute to Lord Nataraja (
Lord Shiva), the cosmic dancer.
Dancers from all over India come here to participate in the event. Bharatanatyam,
Kuchipudi and Odissi are performed by well-known exponents of the art.
