Natrunaiyappar Temple is situated at Tirunanipalli near
Mayiladuthurai, in
Nagapattinam District. It is 13 km from Maliyaduthurai. The principal deity here is Natrunaiyappar (Swarnapureeswarar.) Rich in its architectural works, the temple holds various inscriptions of the Raja Raja Chola period and a 16 pillared mukha mandapam. This ancient temple was renovated by Raja Raja Chola I.
Sambandar, Appar and Sundarar have glorified this temple through their pathigams.
