National Philatelic Museum




National Philatelic Museum is housed in the post office at Dak Bhavan, on the Sansad Marg (Parliament Street), in Delhi. The museum exhibits a large collection of rare stamps, first day covers and special cancellations. The first stamp issued in India by the Sindh Dak in 1854 and the stamps issued by the rulers of the Princely States before independence are also displayed here.

National Philatelic Museum also has a counter selling stamps from all over the world.

Visiting hours are set between 10:00 to 17:00 hrs.
The museum is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
