National Law University, located in
Mandore, is the fifth National University for Legal Education in the country. The other institutions are at
Bangalore,
Hyderabad,
Bhopal and
Kolkata.
This State University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in law and allied disciplines. The distance education program includes Master degree in criminal law, criminology and forensic science and Master degree in trade law. The institute has established some research centers, namely, Center for Studies in Banking and Finance, Center for Insurance Studies and Research, Center for Criminal Law Studies, Center for Studies in Agriculture and Law, Center for Human Rights Education and Research and Center for WTO Studies. It has also established a Continuing Legal Education and Special Research Cell.
