National Folklore Support Centre (NFSC) is a non profit, non-governmental organization for the promotion of folk art through various co-operative and experimental activities. Located at
Chennai, it arranges numerous public programs. The center publishes newsletters, research journals, books and monographs in the field of folklore and conducts workshops and exhibitions across the country.
The in-houses library has an array of folklore-oriented catalogues, brochures, pamphlets and addresses and profiles of Indian and foreign folklore scholars. Research materials, journals and bibliographies are also available.
Chennai International Airport is the nearest airport and Chennai Central Railway Station and Chennai Egmore Railway Station are the nearest major railheads.
