National Academy of Legal Studies and Research University, (NALSAR University of Law), established in 1998, is a State University located at Shamirpet in
Rangareddy District. The campus borders the
Shamirpet Lake.
This residential university is engaged in teaching and promoting research in law and allied disciplines. It offers postgraduate diploma programs in patents law, media laws, cyber laws and international humanitarian law.
The campus is about 3 km off the main road to Karimnagar from Hyderabad and is about 35 km from the Hyderabad Airport and around 27 km from Secunderabad Junction Railway Station.
