Established in 1992, National AIDS Research Institute in
Pune conducts research on HIV and AIDS through infra-structural development, capacity building and research programs. It offers research programs in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Clinical Sciences, Serology, Immunology, Microbiology, Molecular Virology and Behavioral and Social Science. Besides, care, treatment and vaccine are provided to HIV infected persons.
