Natesan Park




Natesan Park is a popular spot located at T Nagar, in Chennai. The park is spread over an area of four acres. It was opened to the public on September 13, 1950, by the then Minister of Agriculture, A B Shetty. The park is under the control of the corporation.

Spread over an area of 4 acres, Natesan Park features long walkways, fountains and garden lights. The numerous shady trees and shrubs provide a quiet, serene ambience. These include crotons, aralias, bougainvilleas, acalypha, ceesil peniea, pulcharima, mahogany, Neem and gulmohur. The park has a play zone and separate tennis court for coaching children, as well as a plant propagation centre.
