Nasigram




Nasigram is a village located 30 km from Bardhaman. This village is known as the first cyber village in West Bengal.

Nasigram has religious importance as Narahari Sarkar, an associate of Lord Chaitanya, spread the glories of Lord Chaitanya and Prabhu Nityananda to Srinivasa Acharya. The main festivals celebrated by the people here are 24 Prahar, Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Jai Maa, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja, Dol Jatra and Gajan.

The major attractions are Shib Tala, Baro Gopinath Tala, Chhoto Gopinath Tala, Radhamadabh Tala, Gouranga Tala, Ramkrishna Mandir and Kali Tala. Nasigram can be easily accessed by bus and trains from Kolkata. The nearest airport is at Dum Dum.
