Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary




Nargu Wildlife Sanctuary lies across the Uhl River in Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh.

Barot forms the gateway to this sanctuary, which is home to serows, musk deer, monal, black bear, barking deer and a variety of pheasants. A trek route cuts across the sanctuary to Kullu.

The best time to visit is April - May and August – October. Rest houses at Thaltukhod and Silbadhwani in the sanctuary offer accommodation.
