Narayanavanam



Narayanavanam is about 5 km to the east of Puttur, in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. This town, with great religious importance, is 36 km to the south of Tirupati.

It is believed that Lord Venkateswara married Goddess Padmavati here. Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswami Temple, devoted to Lord Venkateswara, is the prime attraction of the town.

Narayanavanam is well connected by road and National Highway 4 passes through the town. Tirupati Airport and Puttur Railway Station is the nearest airport and major railhead respectively.
