Narayan Sarovar, one of the five holy lakes of the Hindu faith, is situated about 210 km from Bhuj, in Kutch District of Gujarat. It is regarded as one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus. There is a temple situated near the lake.
Narayan Sarovar, which literally means ‘Lake of Narayan, has been found mentioned in the Hindu holy scriptures.
Narayan Sarovar Sanctuary, situated a few kilometers away here, is another point of attraction. Koteshwar, an ancient place of pilgrimage, is situated a short distance from Narayan Sarovar.
