Narasimha Puri Temple




Narasimha Puri Temple, also called as Devapalli, is located at Narasimha Palli in Godrumadvipa, one among the nine islands of Navadvipa. The main deity of the temple is Lord Narasimha.

The deity is seen with Hiranyakasipu on his lap and Prahlad at his feet. This temple dates back to Satya-yuga. Mandakini River flows nearby.

The temple can be reached from Mayapur by ferry, across the Jalangi River. By road, the temple is an hour’s drive from Mayapur.
