Narakur

Narakur, also known as Narkara, lies in Badgam District of Jammu and Kashmir. One of the major wetlands of Kashmir Valley, it is near to Rawalpora. This beautiful hamlet is placed at an altitude of about 5,150 ft above sea level.

Narakur is surrounded by Mohandpura in the west, Bimun in the north, Gorteng in the east and Humhom in the south.

Narakur can be accessed from Dooru, Nadirgund and Bamhina. Buses also ply frequently from Srinagar, which is eight kilometers away.
