Nanandi is a small village, one would come across while traveling along National Highway 13 from Solapur to Bijapur, in Solapur District. It is few kilometers before crossing the district border to enter Bijapur District in Karnataka. Nanandi is 26 km south of Solapur and 70 odd kilometers to the north of Bijapur.
Solapur is a famous Jain pilgrim center in the district while Bijapur boasts some of the famous mughal historic sites, both easily accessible from Nanandi.
