Namthang

Namthang is a taluk headquarters and prominent town in South Sikkim District of Sikkim. It is perched at an altitude of 4,091 ft and is about 14 km east of Namchi.

Ahlay Monastery, Namchi Monastery and Ngadak Monastery are the spiritual sites in the neighborhood.

Nearest airport is Civil Enclave Bagdogra. Darjeeling Railway Station is the closest major railway station.
