Namkhana

Namkhana is a small town in South 24 Parganas District of West Bengal. It is situated about 105 south of Kolkata and 58 km south of Diamond Harbour.

Sunderbans can be accessed from Namkhana. Places of tourist interest include Lothian Island Wildlife Sanctuary, Jambudwip and the hatchery-cum-sanctuary at the Bhagabatpur Crocodile Project. Namkhana Railway Station serves the area.
