Nallambal, a village with historical importance, is in
Karaikal District. It is 12 km from
Karaikal, on the Peralam Road.
Sri Tantonreeswarar Temple, ascribed to the
Chola period, is one of the landmarks here. It boasts some exquisitely carved granite statues. Besides, many inscriptions can be seen its exterior walls.
Buses are available from Karaikal to reach Nallambal.
