Nalamdana, a non profit organization, is located at Chennai in Tamil Nadu. In Tamil, Nalamdana means ‘Are You Well’. The organization's aim is to create a healthier and better educated society in India. Innovative communication methods such as street plays, interactive games and puzzles, tele films, television serials, and small group workshops are conducted in order to enable people to make better-informed decisions about their health and their families. At present, the organization gives key importance on HIV AIDS prevention and maternal and child health.
