Naka–Chikong

Naka–Chikong is a big rock with deep hollows which lies in the middle of Ildek River at Badaka village in East Garo Hills District. It is a sacred place of Hindus and people throng here to worship.

A unique feature is that fishes can be found here in any season. It is believed that if any one inadvertently touches the big rock, then all fishes immediately disappear from the river.

Badaka is about 3 km from Adokgre and 15 km from Duphdara.
