Located in the eastern corner of
Anantnag town, Nagbal is a place famous for a spring. Being a Hindu religious center, the spring is believed to be the Vedic tirth. The spring originates from the foot of a small hillock and is dedicated to Anantavishnu. A big tank encloses the spring. Nearby is another tank with the Nagbal temple in its center.
Nagbal can be accessed from Anantnag by local transport. Anantnag is 65 km north of Srinagar – the capital city of Jammu and Kashmir. The nearest airport is Srinagar Airport.
