Nachya

Nachya is a folk theater form of Madhya Pradesh. The sub genres of Nachya are Gammat Skit and Jokkad Pari, of which latter is a humorous form. The play usually opens with an invocation, which is sung in praise of Lord Ganesh and Goddess Saraswati.
