Mythic Society is located in
Bangalore,
Karnataka. It was started in 1909 as an academic club with an objective of promoting the study of history among the students. In 1913, the society was opened to public.
It has a public hall, called Daly Memorial Hall, built by Tabard, a former active member of the society. The society has a library that houses around 30,000 books on various subjects. The collection includes books on history of Karnataka, manuscripts, maps and records on the history of former Mysore State. The library’s rare collections are helpful for research and architecture students.
