Muttumthala




Muttumthala village situated 10 km south of the famous Bekal Fort, Kasargod, is blessed by scenic beauty. The Chithari River flowing along the western side of Muttumthala and merging with the Arabian Sea, is the major attraction. Places of tourist importance including Bekal Beach, Bekal Hole Aqua Park, Kappil Beach and Valiyaparamba are easily accessible from here. Muttumthala Makham Uroos is the main festival celebrated here with much pomp and merriment. Kanhangad Railway Station is only 5 km from Muttumthala. The nearest airport is Mangalore Airport.
