Museum of Fine Arts is situated in the
Panjab University, in
Chandigarh. Established in 1968, the museum has a wide collection of contemporary Indian paintings, sculpture and graphic art by various artists. Some rare reproductions of world masters are also available on display.
Informative lectures and film shows are conducted occasionally.
Entry is free. Photography inside the museum requires permission from the director.
Visiting hours are set between 10:00 to 13:00 hrs and 14:00 to 17:00 hrs, on all days except Sunday and official holidays.
