Murayat Temple




Murayat Temple, built in AD 1075, is the latest and the largest temple among the Kadwaha temples. It is situated in Guna District of Madhya Pradesh.

The temple is distinguished for its simple layout. It consists of a pancha-ratha sanctum, a vestibule and a mandapam with a highly ornamented exterior and interior.

Guna is the nearest major town.
