Munsyari

Munsyari, located at an altitude of 2, 135 m above sea level, is the gate way to Johar region. It is situated about 66 km from Jauljibi and 127 km from Pithoragarh viaThal, in Pithoragarh District, Uttaranchal.

Munsyari forms the base for treks to Milam, Namik and Ralam Glaciers. The Khalia Top and Betulidhar are two places in the region which are ideal for skiing.
