Munroturuttu is located in Kollam District of Kerala. It is about 20 km north of Kollam.

It is surrounded by Ashtamudi Lake and Kallada River.

Munroturuttu Railway Station is on the Kayamkulam – Kollam rail route. Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport.
