Munnikkal Guhalayam is located on the top of a hill at Chengamanad in Ernakulam District of Kerala. Chengamanad is about 10 km north-west of Aluva.

The Munnikkal Guhalayam means 'Sages Rock Cave'. Legend says that sage Jangaman lived here 2000 years ago. There is an ancient Murugan Temple in the cave, where the sage is believed to have meditated.

The Mahadeva Temple situated near the cave is one of the main Shiva temples of the district.
