Mungeli

Mungeli is a taluk headquarters and prominent town in Bilaspur District of Chhattisgarh. It is about 40 km west of Bilaspur. The place is famous for the cultivation of Karayal or Kalaunji, which is grown as a hardy spice crop in Chhattisgarh. Raipur Airport is the nearest airport. Bilaspur Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
