Munak




Munak is a village in Karnal District and is situated about 25 km east of Assandh. It is located near the district’s border with Panipat District and is about 110 km north-west of Delhi. Panipat is around 18 km south-east of Munak.

Yamuna River flows nearby Munak and the supply of drinking water for the state capital is facilitated from here. The tomb of Ibrahim Lodhi, the Kabuli Bagh Mosque built by Babur, the Salarjung Gate, Dargah of Bu Ali Shah Qalandar and the Jain temples at Holi Mohalla constitute short excursions near Munak.

Nearest airport is at Delhi. Panipat Junction Railway Station serves Munak.
