Muktidham Temple




Muktidham Temple is a beautiful shrine situated close to the Nasik Road Railway Station, about 7 km south-east of Nasik, in Maharashtra. This marble temple complex enshrines various Hindu gods and is a popular tourist attraction in the Nasik Road suburb of Nasik.

Built in 1971, Muktidham Temple is pure white in color signifying holiness and peace. This exquisite piece of architecture is built with marble from Makrana in Rajasthan. Most noteworthy feature of the temple is that the eighteen chapters of Bhagavad Gita are en-carved on the walls of its vast interiors.

A visit to the temple is considered as a visit to the 4 dhams ( holy centers).

Muktidham Temple can be easily accessed from Nasik Central Bus Station.
