Muhuri is a major river in
South Tripura District. It has a catchments area of 1014 sq km and is around 64 km long.
This river originates from Deotamura range of Tripura and flows westwards through the plains and hillocks of Belonia sub division. It continues its path through Bangladesh and finally drains into the Bay of Bengal.
