Mudukulathur

Mudukulathur is a taluk headquarters situated in Ramanathapuram District of Tamil Nadu. It is around 35 km west of Ramanathapuram and 18 km from Kamudi. This prominent town of the district is on the State Highway connecting Paramakudi and Kadaladi.

Senchadainathaswamy Temple at Tirumalugandhan Kottai lies near Mudukulathur. Uthirakosamangai is a sacred place at about 24 km away. Chitrangudi Bird Sanctuary, Gulf of Mannar Marine Biosphere Reserve and Dhanushkodi are in the surroundings.

Paramakkudi Railway Station and Ramanathapuram Railway Station serve the town. Madurai Airport is 70 km north.
