Mount Harriet National Park

Mount Harriet National Park is situated in the Andaman District in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Spread over an area of 33 sq km, it is famous for its lush green tropical forest and indigenous animal life. The fauna includes the Andaman wild pig, saltwater crocodile, turtle and robber crab. The best time to visit this park is during the months of January and February.

Madhuban is a nearby location, where elephants are sometimes trained for the logging camps. Mount Harriet is accessible by the vehicle or passenger ferry which leaves every two hours from Phoenix Bay Jetty to Bamboo Flat. Regular bus services are available from the Andaman Teal House.
