Mota Yaksh Fair is one of the largest fairs celebrated in
Kutch District of
Gujarat. This three day fair is celebrated at Kakdbhit, about 40 km from
Bhuj. The legend associated with the fair is that Yakshas(angels) came here to save the people from cruel rural, and taught them some skills to improve their life style. The people built a temple dedicated to Yakshas and started to celebrate the fair.
