Located in the heart of the capital city of
New Delhi, the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) specializes in yoga classes for the general public. For promoting yoga, it organizes various seminars and workshops and conducts special courses for women, children and aged population.
One-year diploma course in yoga is provided. Other important activities are physiological and clinical research studies in yoga, disease-specific therapy modules, yoga-diet consultation, re-orientation training programs and health camps.
Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga is also a referral center for researchers. The institute has a conference hall, amphitheater, meditation hall, yoga-fitness block and a library.
