Mitthasar is a village near Ko
tla, which lies 3 km from Kiratpur Sahib and 6 km from Anandpur Sahib.
Guru Hargobind Sahib, the sixth Sikh guru, used to visit this village and to preserve the memories of his visit a Gurdwara has been built here. During the time of Guru Guru Hargobind, the water of all the wells here was brackish and Guru dug a well, which gave out water that was worth drinking. Today, one can find this well in the premises of the Gurdwara.
Anandpur Sahib Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
