Mishkal Masjid

Mishkal Masjid is an architectural wonder located at Kuttichira, 2 km from Kozhikode Bus Station. The mosque is named after a rich trader, who built it.

This four storied structure is supported by wooden pillars. Some portions were burned down during the Portuguese invasion in 1510. The burned portions are still preserved and it can be seen on the top floors of the mosque.
