Mira Bai Temple associated with
Mira Bai, the mystic poetess of India, is located near
Kumbha Shyam Temple in
Chittorgarh. It is a fine example of Rajput architecture and designed in North Indian style. The open arcade around the sanctum has four small pavilions.
A small chhatri stands in the temple’s forecourt is dedicated to Mira’s saintly guru, Rai Das (Swami Ravidas). Interior of the sanctum is decorated with the paintings of Lord Krishna and of Mira Bai in devotion to the god.
