Mihinpurwa is located in
Bahraich District. It is around 55 km north of
Bahraich.
The area is mostly covered by dense forest. The forest wealth of Mihinpurwa is abounding in trees of teak and khair (Acacia). A number of manufacturing units producing wooden furniture and kattha (catechu) are located here.
Mihinpurwa Railway Station is on the Bahraich-Dudwa rail route. Nearest airport is Amausi Airport.
