Mhasrul




Mhasrul is a scenic village located in Nasik District of Maharashtra. It is a famous Jain pilgrimage centre and houses one of the ancient temples in the state. Mhasrul is about 7 km from Nasik.

Major point of attraction here is an ancient Jain temple called the Gajapantha Tirth. The tirth is situated on the top of a small hill, which is about 400 ft tall.

Other places worth visiting around are the caravanserai (a small hut), Chamber Caves, Gajadhwaja Hillock Temple, Seeta Kund and Dharmashala.

The nearest railway station is Nasik Road Railway Station, about 16 km away. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is the closest airport. The village is well connected to National Highway 3.
