Metemneo is a five day festival celebrated in
Nagaland after the millet crop is harvested. During the festival, agricultural devices are worshipped and prayers are organized in memory of the departed souls. The festival period is considered to be auspicious to get engaged.
Yimchungers tribe celebrate this festival with great pomp.
