Meruthang


Meruthang, at an altitude of 14,800 ft, is the base camp for those venturing for the Gorichen ranges of the Arunachal Himalayas. It can be reached by a 10 km exhaustive trek from Jithang.

Jang is the nearest major town. Tezpur Airport is the nearest airport. Rangapara North Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
