Melethrikovil Temple and Kizhethrikovil Temple




Located on the banks of a tributary of Bharathapuzha, Melethrikovil Temple is devoted to Lord Vishnu and Thirumandhamkunnu Bhagavati.

The site of the two temple along with the river gives an impressive look. Melethrikovil Temple is about 100 ft above water level, while the Kizhethrikovil Temple is situated very near the water level. Both the temples are believed to be about 2000 years old.

Shiva, Vishnu, and Ayyappa are the main deities worshipped in the Kizhethrikovil Temple.

The temple is located on the Manjeri-Perinthalmanna road and is about 7 km from Manjeri.
