Melarkode

Located in Palakkad District of Kerala, Melarkode is about 30 km from Palakkad. Once known as Mayilattoor, it is famous for its dancing peacocks. There are temples dedicated to Lord Ganesh and Lord Shiva. A week long festival is held here, and its highlights are Panchavadyam, Ezhunnallathu and Aarattu.
