Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary

Mehao Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Lower Dibang Valley District and Lohit District of Arunachal Pradesh and is about 17 km Roing.

Covering about 282 sq km, the sanctuary is home to hoolock gibbon, leopard, red panda, elephant and tiger, and varieties of birds, fishes and butterflies. Mehao Lake forms a part of the sanctuary.
