Medina is a small mosque situated at Murshidabad, between the Hazarduari Palace and the large Nizamat Imambara. It is an ornamented replica of Hazrat Muhammad's tomb at Madina and is decorated with colorful tiled verandahs. Nearby lies a great cannon called Bacchawali tope. The mosque is located about 3 km from Murshidabad Railway Station.
Murshidabad is well connected to other cities and towns by road. The nearest airport is at Kolkata.
